Transfer

The marking technique known as transfer is a textile vinyl transferred to the fabric by applying heat with an iron or heat press.

The result to the touch of this technique provides many options. You can play with many types of finishes, colours, optical effects, shines, etc. Some of them can only be obtained with this process. It is important to be aware of them when designing a fashion garment. The must customary materials are:

  • Printable white textile vinyl.
  • Pigmented cut textile vinyl, meaning with one colour or with different effects.

The main feature is that the desired image can be transferred with no need for templates, silicon film or clichés.  It provides for many variations on the fabric with few units and at a good cost. Moreover, it is important to know that grip to the fabric lasts around 50 washes.

This is the most recommended when one wishes to print different texts or images on one same series of garments. Or when one wishes to stamp an image in one colour and at a lower cost.

There are more thermal adhesive solutions with different processes, depending on the client's needs and the product's final objective.
